Betty Crocker

I know some of you are wondering why on earth I am posting bread on my blog.....Well it is because it is my very first attempt at making bread and it turned out marvelous! I looove homemade bread but have always been a little nervous about giving it a go. Now I know I can do it and I am grateful to my cute little Gma for walking me through it! It is some of the tastiest whole wheat bread I have ever had....if I don't say so myself! Ok done bragging for now.

West Yellowstone

Ewhhhh Ahhhhhh Ohhhhhh
look at her go!

I have always like going to Yellowstone, but for some reason I remember Old Faithful being so much more AMAZING when I was a wee one. When we went there was a LOAD of people there. In some of the pics you will wonder why we look so undone.... well, our excuse is that it rained for a bit. Not the whole time but long enough to give us the uglies!
We are going to Yellowstone again next week to go to the Playmill. I LOVE doing that! We are going to Footloose with my fam. Lane is just thrilled!

Cole totally missed Old Faithful... And the icecream!!! (you snooze you lose!)

Here are my little cubs.......

Have you done any good in the world today?

Ok so today was one of those days.... the ones where you aren't as nice to your kids as you should be. You wanna yell at the lady that cut you off and looked at you as if it was your fault. You are strolling through Walmart just wanting to hurry before anyone recognizes you and wonders why you are hiding. (no make up, bad hair day, and bad mood!) So I finish up what I needed to get done before I go see my mom and sister. I pull into Wendy's to get the boys chicken nuggets, yogurt, and a drink. She tells me the price, 6bucks or something. I look into my wallet and realize that I only had 5 and NO change! aghhh....added to my dumb day. So I whip out my credit card and pull up to the first window..... and the Wendy's girl says to me... " the woman in the car infront of you has paid for your meal!" I got all teary eyed and said " I love her!" I know we hear this all the time but that lady really didn't know just how much that kind dead did for me this day! I drove away with tears in my eyes and a smile on my face. I am so going to do that cuz I know how good it feels! The world needs more women like her!

All dressed up.... and no where to go!

THIS is what I saw when I came out of the shower/bathroom this morning...... I then got dressed and said to Dawson, "get your shoes on and lets go!" he said "are we going to Hawaii?" I giggled and said "I wish!" They must have made some big plans the two of them.... since Cole was READY for the Luau!

Summer fun

Another busy week come and gone. My sister Cassie and her family were here from Ohio for 3 weeks and left on Friday morning. (whaaa) We had such a great time with her fun family that it was extra hard to see them leave. She has a beautiful 12 year old daughter named Josie, a 9 year old baseball pro Todd, the funniest little 6 year old Mitch, and the craziest 2 year old ever, Justin. We had a week of picnics, swimming, outside sprinkler fun, splash park, and just going, going!
I have been working for my mom at her store in Idaho Falls on Saturdays. That has been a lot of fun....HOT but fun! They are only open one more Saturday and then closed till their normal season which starts in September. (http://www.minibazaar.com/)

Today I taught the Relief Society lesson. I was sure sweaten it but it all turned out pretty good. (if i don't say so myself!) The lesson was on Elder Bednar's talk on being reborn. The "pickle" one. Luckily there are a bunch of older ladies that have canned pickles so we had some good interaction....phewwww!

We had planned to go to Utah for the 24th of July but instead decided to go to West Yellowstone. We are leaving early in the a.m. and hope to have a grand time! Although I am excited about this family outing I was secretly hoping to make it down to the Anniversary Sale. I guess I don't really need anything and so nothing lost. I got some good deals last year for the boys though and am hoping I am not missing out on anything I may need!
Kinda boring tonight...hopefully more action and excitement later....... My little Coley monster has been BEGGING to sleep in bed with Dawson.... I will keep you posted on if he STAYS. Hope he doesn't roll off!

That little monster is in the window of our bedroom! Makes me itch ALL night thinking about it! He is stuck between the double pain...not sure how BUT non the less...any ideas on how to help this little fella back to spider heaven?

Some fun pics

Here are a few random pics i snatched out of our camera......

Dawson thinks this is the funniest picture.... I doubt he will feel that way in his teenage years!!

Dawson, Cole, and Rook jumping for joy!

Have you seen my dinner?

What a little hot rod! He wants this
one cuz it is camo style!

One of their favorite moments of the day......
BATH TIME!!!

Take Luck.....

Last night a bunch of us went to Brian Regan here at the Civic Center. It was a fantastic show, which we all expected. I think the reason people love him so much, including myself, is because first off all of his humor is clean and second reason being his jokes are about real life situations so everyone kinda knows where he is coming from. We even got to see Brian cry. Lane thought it was awkward but I thought it was sweet.
Before we went to the show we went to Scotty's. My sister in law and her friend came up from Utah and met us there for a GREAT and GREASY dinner. We had a good little babysitter come watch the boys and they really liked that. (her 7 year old sis comes with so it makes it more FUN for everyone!)
I think I might be going to Jackson Hole tomorrow with my sister Geri. She is job shadowing some well known designer there for the day and is BEGGING me to ride with her. I love Jackson and think it is a charming place BUT.....all day with 2 kids? Hmmm we will see.
We are still waiting on one more something or another on our construction loan. Which really sucks cuz we signed all our loan papers last week and thought we were good to go the next day BUT I guess it just can't be that easy! Seems like it has been one thing after another lately. As of now looks like we will be ready to roll as of tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for us! My Grandma is sooo sweet and we couldn't as for a better roomie BUT I am sure she is looking forward to having her own space back as much as we are!
Well, since everyone I know is probably snoozing at this hour I oughta join in..... I will post some cute pics next time. We have some fun random ones from this last week.....

Wii Wii Wii all the way home!

I am not much of a gamer BUT this is a great workout as well! Those Japanese people are smart! Trying to help us American peeps to get off our butts and shake it up a bit. My dad has discovered playing while sitting on the couch.... hmmm. I still enjoy making a fool out of myself while going all out on the motions. Plus, it is too adorable watching these two little buddies going at it!

I know video games aren't for kids age 1 and 3, but it SURE is fun watching and they SURE love playing! We have had the Wii for a while now and haven't had much time to play it. Now that we are slowing down a bit we are getting our game back on!

What has been going on??

Hmmmm...not real sure! The last couple weeks have been quite the blur. We have been keeping REAL busy this summer just doing a whole lot of nothing! We have been swimming at Ross Park and at Rigby Lake a few times. I really like Idaho summers I have decided. It is hot but not TOO hot so you can stand to be outside a majority of the day. Exactly where my boys want to be!
For the 4th we had a good time. We went out to my moms house and had a big dutch oven chicken dinner. All the kids ran wild until it became dark enough to do sparklers. Then came the big firework splendor... it was ok for a home show. I don't have any pics of all the excitement but my sister Geri took a butt load so I will have to get some from her to add. We are baking bread and making homemade noodles today. (my mom, sister cassie, grandma, and i) I guess I oughta go help!!
